With a career spanning over two decades, William “Bill” Miller is a recognized leader in the post-acute healthcare field — known for his operational insight, collaborative leadership style, and steadfast dedication to improving care delivery at every level.
Bill’s calling to long-term care began at age 16, when he took an entry-level job as a laundry aide in a skilled nursing facility. Over the next five years that role evolved into maintenance and gave him hands-on experience in nearly every department of the building. Working alongside caregivers and witnessing the daily impact of quality care on residents and their families profoundly shaped his path, leading him to earn a degree in Healthcare Administration from Weber State University and later an MBA from Washington State University. From there he advanced through a series of impactful roles: from Nursing Home Administrator and Regional VP to Vice President of Operations for 45 centers, then Chief Operating Officer for 70, and ultimately Chief Executive Officer.
His work has had a lasting impact across multiple states, where he has led high-performing teams and developed operational frameworks that prioritize both care quality and sustainable growth. In recognition of his contributions, Bill received an advocacy award in 2019 from the Washington Healthcare Association, where he now serves as Board Chair.
At the heart of Bill’s professional mission is a personal one — building strong, resilient communities. That same commitment defines his life outside of work. Married to Lisa, a dedicated nurse, since 2002, Bill is a proud father of two daughters and a grandfather to a spirited four-year-old. He’s an enthusiastic supporter of his daughters’ athletic pursuits — one a national-level volleyball competitor, and the other an accomplished equestrian and softball player.
Whether leading teams, serving on a board, or watching from the bleachers, Bill brings the same energy, focus, and heart to everything he does. His journey is one of purpose, passion, and a deep belief in the power of people to make a difference.
